THINGAMABOB (3) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Kenilworth 11 weeks ago. Should park just off the speed. Best figures should see her run well. TREASURE ISLAND (6) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of four months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Greyville. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. BELLIGERENT (1) is a three-start maiden who is building towards a win, the latest run an encouraging second over 5½f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. PIZAZZ (7) is facing the starter for the first time. By Vercingetorix and is out of the Yogas Govender stable. Worth watching for a betting push.
