ABADDON (1) is a genuine four-year-old gelding who resumed with a solid second last time out at this track over 5f. Should be in the finish. MAR DEL PLATA (4) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 5f at this track. Can measure up. GORGEOUS GUY (8) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 6f at Greyville All Weather. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One of the main contenders. THE MASK (3) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into sixth over 5f at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
