TYRCONNELL (2) did well last time to finish fourth over 7f at Greyville after he got a long way back in the run. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the main contenders. SUNDANCE KID (7) improved last time out, finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1m at Greyville. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. JP'S PALACE (5) is a promising galloper who saluted at his last run before a break nine weeks ago over 1m3/4f at this track. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Athandiwe Mgudlwa who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Solid claims on best form.
