RAVEN BLACK (6) resuming after back-to-back wins at the end of last campaign at Turffontein Inside and Vaal. Has a formidable combination with K Matsunyane who has been aboard for his last three wins. Best form puts him right in this. KING OF THE GAULS (12) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Kenilworth two starts back then got the job done by 0.6 lengths as favourite last time out over 5f at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. Group 1 winner GOOD TRAVELLER (8) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time over 6f at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. HITHEMHARDSUNSHINE (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 5f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
