NORTHERN WARRIOR (8) turned in a fine effort to win by a nose at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. PURPLE POWAHOUSE (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Greyville All Weather, finishing second and only 0.6 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. BUSTER KEATON (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a better run is on the cards. HAPPY WANDERER (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6f at this track. Well placed to turn things around.
