SOUTHERN SKY (13) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 2. 75 lengths when fifth over 1m at Kembla Grange two-and-a-half weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. ANTILOCAPRA (11) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish seventh over 7¼f at Muswellbrook in a disappointing performance. Likely improver with strong prospects. FAVOUR THE BOLD (8) ran below expectations last time at Muswellbrook, finishing eighth and beaten 4. 5 lengths starting at 9/2. Has raced four times here and has never missed the frame. Nicely placed to make amends. CASTELLE (14) is on a quick back-up after finishing eighth in better company eight days ago over 7f at Newcastle. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
