SPLASH OF STEEL (6) got well back over 6f at Warwick Farm last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 8 lengths away in eighth. Finds a nice race and can take this out. PAPPA BLUE (4) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6f at Canberra when fresh from a break. Solid prospects. SCOOP THE POOL (5) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a fifth over 1m2f at Cranbourne, beaten 5 lengths. Looks to be in good order following a recent trial win. One of the contenders. COOL SUMMER NIGHTS (7) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f122yards at Taree, beaten half a length. Nicely placed to play a major role.
