WARRIOR FOR PEACE (1) finished 1.75 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7f at Rosehill when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. This is far easier. Bold showing expected. RURA PENTHE (3) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race when he worked home well and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at Tamworth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SHAMISTER (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well when returning from a break last time at Mendooran, finishing second and only a head from the winner at the end of 7½f. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. HAZE (2) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 7f at Mudgee, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Narromine at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
