PRIDE TO FOLLOW (8) finished 2.75 lengths back in fifth over 5½f at Rosehill last time out after a gutsy win two runs back. Should enjoy the significant drop in grade. Should be in the finish. GOLD LOVER (4) had been threatening before breaking through for a deserved win last time over 5½f at Quirindi, scoring by a neck. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Leading contender. JUST IN REACH (2) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 2.75 lengths into fourth over 5f at Warwick Farm. Enjoys a drop in grade so he will prove hard to beat. LONHRO'S QUEEN (5) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Mudgee. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Makes plenty of appeal.
