PEARLS TREASURE (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when sixth over 4½f at this track four weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. TOO DARN LOVELY (6) started at 8/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 2.25 lengths at Tamworth over 5f after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SAVOCA (5) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance when resuming from a break last start. Likely to be there at the finish again. THE AFFIRMATIVE (8) was in the money two starts back at Tamworth but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 4 lengths, at Armidale over 5½f. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
