SPICED UP (5) was in contention on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 5½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BITE AND STRIKE (3) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6f at Aqueduct Turf (Turf), getting home by 3 lengths. Winning rider Jose Lezcano retains the mount. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running another bold race. VETTRIANO (9) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on February 4, finishing sixth and beaten 16 lengths over 7f at Aqueduct (Dirt). Definite top-three chance.
