DAMON'S MOUND (11) returns from a break of ten weeks. Genuine performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 6½f at Gulfstream Park. Has a strong fresh record including three wins. Looks sure to be in the finish. TWENTY SIX BLACK (4) went back early from his wide draw over 5½f in the G1 Jaipur Stakes at this track (Turf) last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. One to watch for in the dying stages. OUTLAW KID (8) found plenty to score by 0. 3 lengths three runs back in stakes class at Laurel Turf (Turf) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Significant class drop this time. Capable of taking this out. ACOUSTIC AVE (12) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 2. 5 lengths at his most recent appearance when fourth over 6f at Aqueduct (Dirt). Reunites with Manuel Franco who has four wins from 10 rides. One of the better hopes.
