CRUDE VELOCITY (6) continued a hot streak of form, winning over 1m in the G2 Pat Day Mile Stakes at Churchill Downs (Dirt) last start to make it three straight. Far too good last time and expected to go right on with it. OBLITERATION (2) is a speedy colt who returned from a break with a win over 6f in stakes class at Laurel (Dirt). Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts him right in this. SOLITUDE DUDE (5) is putting together some solid results. Finished third in the G2 Fountain of Youth Stakes at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 2 lengths as public elect last time out over 7f in Listed grade at Aqueduct (Dirt). Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is right in contention. ENGLISHMAN (7) showed good speed and fought on for second over 1m in the G2 Pat Day Mile Stakes at Churchill Downs (Dirt) last time. Jose Ortiz who has two wins when partnering stays on.
