MAJOR DUDE (1) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start third in the G2 United Nations Stakes at Monmouth Park (Turf) over 1m3f when beaten 2 lengths. John R Velazquez who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Capable of running a bold race. NORTHERN INVADER (3) finished second last time out over 7f at Woodbine, beaten 1.5 lengths. Credentials hard to fault.
