KAY CUP (3) is a progressive three-year-old filly who resumes from a break of 11 weeks, her last appearance being a win over 7f in stakes class at this track (Dirt). Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Has a strong association with I Ortiz Jr who has been in the saddle for her last two wins. Best form puts her right in this. VEHEMENTE (2) had been in sparkling form winning three races on end before most recently finished third over 1m1/2f at Finger Lakes. No surprise to see her atone. CARMEN'S CANDY JAR (1) scored a good win two starts back on dirt then missed the placings on turf last time in a Listed Race at this track over 1m1/2f, beaten 12 lengths. Nice class drop this time. Certainly one to consider. LOTTIE MARGARET (4) scored an impressive win by 3 lengths when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m1/2f in Listed grade at Finger Lakes (Dirt).
