Expected to be in the finish. MASTER PIECE (7) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 1m1/2f at Aqueduct, beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth. Meets a stronger field but he is worth another chance. HUSH OF A STORM (5) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Listed level at this track (Turf) over 1m1/2f, beaten 0.1 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with three placings from four starts. Looks one of the prime contenders. BOURBON DAY (3) kicked off this campaign with a win then was less impressive last time out when fourth over 1m4f at Aqueduct, beaten 6 lengths. Well placed and can make amends.
