APPARATE (9) was safely held when fourth last start over 6½f at Canberra, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a good when resuming win at this track. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to feature. CHRISTMAS STAR (4) broke through for her maiden win over 5f196yards at Gundagai last time, scoring by 3.5 lengths. Looks well placed and she should be in the finish again. DIAMOND RIDGE (11) bounced back last start and scored by half a length over 6f at Moruya. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is right in contention. SASSY MISSILE (10) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a eighth over 7f at Canberra after she was well back on straightening. Can break the run of outs.
