CONJOIN (2) was prominent on the corner and battled on well to finish second last start over 6½f at Corowa, beaten a nose as favourite. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot take this out. HARD KNOCK LIFE (4) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to find the placings at Moruya two starts back before finishing sixth over 7f at Kembla Grange last time. Should be in the mix. CHRISTMAS STAR (9) finished third last time over 5f at Orange when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 0.7 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the primary contenders. DOWNTOWN BAR (10) showed good early speed when resuming last start over this journey at this track before finishing third, beaten 2 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to take this out.
