CANI CANCAN (6) won when resuming but could only manage to finish sixth last time over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Coming back in trip may assist. Settles back early but winds up late. Best form puts her right in this. REWARD FOR ERIC (10) broke through for his maiden win over 4½f at Queanbeyan last time. Shaping up nicely and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. BENTLEY BROOK (5) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Not as effective last time out when eighth over 5f at Randwick, beaten 6 lengths. Nick Heywood is a key engagement. Enjoys a drop in grade so he can make amends. PRINCESS HALO (8) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the B Joseph & P & M Jones barn. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Wangaratta six-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Has to be respected.
