CHRISTMAS STAR (8) has not appeared since she raced on the speed on debut back on March 14 and went down narrowly, finishing third over 5f at Wagga. Looks the goods so she should be in the finish again. WANDABYNE (6) showed good speed to lead over 6f at Moruya last start but faded right out of it to finish 12th. Should be prominent from the outset. Expecting a bold showing. DAICOS (1) is a maiden with seven minor placings to his name. Could not improve on that record when resuming last start, winding up in sixth over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton. Generally runs well second up. Among the leading players. LERINKA (4) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in contention on the turn before being beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth over 5f21yards at Moruya. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
