CLOUDY WOMEN (4) finished second at this track and distance at her last appearance 11 weeks ago. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. DEEP BLUE (6) was prominent at the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 5½f at Santa Anita after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. PREEM (3) finished tenth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. COOLING OFF (1) is returning from a lay-off of eight months. Finished fifth at Santa Anita (Dirt) over 6f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Felix L Gonzalez.
