Race Tip

FEEL THE MAGIC (2) returns from a layoff of nine weeks. Scored over 1m at this track to launch the last campaign. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. MALA (3) settled towards the rear and failed to come on in the straight last start when eighth, beaten 13 lengths, over this course and distance. Faces an easier assignment so he can find the winners' list. PETESOLDFASHIONED (5) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 2. 25 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5½f at Los Alamitos a month ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. I AM AMADEO (1) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 6f at Sweetwater County Fair, beaten 8 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
