SHARP AZA TACK (7) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 6½f at Los Alamitos, beaten only a nose after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. DONCIC (3) was always well out of his ground when 4.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1m at Del Mar last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Del Mar the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DANIEL'S MAGIC (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Del Mar, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Has the talent to find the winners' list. TOUGHERTHANTHEREST (6) disappointed last start when out of the placings over 1m at Emerald Downs (Dirt), beaten 8 lengths. Finds a tougher race but a better run is on the cards.
