MAV MAN (6) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just half a length from the winner in second over 1m1/2f at Del Mar after being in contention on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so he is sure to be right there at the finish. FIGHT BACK (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1/2f at Del Mar, beaten 2.75 lengths. Strips fitter and can take this out. ZAGREUS (7) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Del Mar (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 1m after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. BENNY'S PUZZLE (10) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fifth over 1m1/2f at Del Mar (Turf). Gets back but will wind up late. Not to be discounted.
