Expecting a bold showing. WINK AND A GRIN (1) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 0.8 lengths over 1m at this track (Turf) last time out. Likely to measure up again. HOPEFUL (11) is an imported five-year-old having his first run in this area for the Mark Glatt stable. Hasn't raced since she finished sixth over 7f in the LR October Stakes at Ascot eight months ago. Not seen at the trials but she is a definite winning chance. VALKYRIAN (2) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start over 1m at this track (Turf), beaten 3 lengths. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards.
