COASTAL COWGIRL (3) is a three-start maiden who returned last time and finished seventh at this track (Dirt) over 6½f, beaten 12 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement and is a great chance to break through. AFFAIR (2) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 7f at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the bend. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. TOM'S STAR (5) raced on the speed last time but couldn't finish the race off and clocked-in fourth over 7f at this track (Dirt). Solid top-three chance on her best figures. MAXWELL ST BLUES (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of nine weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Pleasanton (Dirt). Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Pleasanton over 5½f. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
