JERRY'S SPIRIT (2) is back from a lay-off of ten weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt). Will be tough to beat. HANDSOME TICKET (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Fitter so expect a better run this time. TROTSKY (3) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.1 lengths over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Winning rider Kyle Frey sticks and he is a great chance to go back-to-back. MR DISRESPECTFUL (4) didn’t threaten when resuming last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Should be much improved.
