Group 2 winner BIG INVASION (11) has strong overall form with nine wins including a last start victory in stakes class at Saratoga (Turf). Should be in the finish again. Multiple Group 3 placegetter FIRST PEACE (2) ran well below his best last time over 1m in the G2 Del Mar Mile Handicap (Turf), beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth at 7/4. Has a superb record here at the journey with two wins and a 100% top-three strike rate. A bold showing is expected. Group 3 placegetter JOHNNY PODRES (1) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 5f in the G3 Green Flash Handicap at Del Mar (Turf). Has race fitness on his side now. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. Group 2 winner TWO RIVERS OVER (4) last appeared when successful by 0.8 lengths over 1m in the G2 Godolphin Mile at Meydan Dirt six months ago, the only time he went to the races last prep. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Must be respected.
