QUAGMIRE MAGIC (3) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Has the class to take care of this field. NAISMITH (1) resumes. Wasn't far away at the only run last time in work, finishing fourth over 6½f at this track (Turf) a year ago. Looks a strong top-three prospect. DES DOIGTS (5) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 6f at this track. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be thereabouts.
