FIRST CHORUS (1) has been racing well this prep, scoring last start over 1m at Caulfield to make it two wins from four runs this time in. Has a great record at this journey with two wins from four starts and is a key runner. HUSH HUSH (8) won two runs ago when resuming but couldn't repeat the dose last time when fifth over 7½f at Rosehill. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. PULA (5) showed early speed from an outside draw last time out and led for much of the way before finding a couple better at the end of 1m1f at Caulfield Heath. Well-placed and expected to feature again. COOLY (4) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 1. 5 lengths over 7½f at Caulfield Heath last start. Winning rider Zac Spain sticks. Not to be discounted.
