LANDMARK (10) was having his first run for the Lloyd Kennewell team last start when he made steady ground to run into second over 5f at Caulfield Heath at the first run back from a lay-off. One of the genuine hopes in the race. ACTUALITY (15) is closing in on a win after two consecutive placings, the latest a second over 5½f at Caulfield. Well placed and sure to go well again. WINNASEDGE (2) last appeared when sixth over 6f in the LR Queensland Day Stakes at Eagle Farm 11 months ago. Makes plenty of appeal. PER SEMPRE (12) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5½f at Caulfield. Will be putting in the big strides late.
