TSITSIPAS (3) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner as favourite last start over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. BALINOR (4) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m2f at Flemington. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. STERN IDOL (1) comes here off a break of seven months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m7f at this track. One to consider. SUFFOLK STAR (2) finished fifth over 1m4f at this track when resuming last start, beaten only 1. 75 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
