The testing material. AMERICAN WOLF (2) started favourite last time out over 1m5f at Cranbourne but found a couple better, making it three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Overdue for a win and he is a real danger. TRAPALANDA (5) was thereabouts last time out when sixth over 1m2f at Flemington. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Likely to play a major role.
