Can spear over from a wide draw. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. RISE AT DAWN (2) went forward when resuming last start over 7f in the LR Tontonan (Sofitel) Stakes at Flemington and held on well for third, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will again be prominent from the outset. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EVAPORATE (1) was well in commission when resuming last start over 7f in the G2 PB Lawrence Stakes at Caulfield but could only manage fifth, although only 2.75 lengths from the winner. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Blake Shinn stays aboard. One of the contenders. ATHANATOS (13) was out of the placings last time over 7f in the LR Tontonan (Sofitel) Stakes at Flemington but is a stronger performer at the third run back from a lay-off. Top-three contender.
