Placed to advantage and can make her presence felt. MR VERSE (1) found a couple better last start at Rosehill over 7½f after he gave away a big start. Has found the frame in all three starts at this journey, including two wins. Backmarker who keeps coming. Leading contender. PRINCESS MONTECITO (15) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside. Cherry-ripe now and is expected to do much better. AL DUCA (2) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7f at Echuca, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
