FASTOSO (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at Seymour, finishing second and beaten 0.8 lengths. Has ability and looks sure to measure up. ALGORITHMIC (1) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 7f in the G2 VRC Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. DUKE ATREIDES (3) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Newcastle. Has upside and must be respected.
