IT'S A YES (2) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 6f at Geelong. Has further improvement to come and is a great chance to break through. REGAL SECRET (5) knuckled down strongly to get within a nose of the winner in second last start over 5f at Pakenham Synthetic. Leading player again. VOLATILE (4) turned things around last start and got the job done by half a length after being in contention on the bend over 5½f at Sale. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to cope. DON'T RUSSIA (13) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 19 when beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth at Moe over 6f. In the right race and should be thereabouts.
