BEOUR BAY (4) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 0.6 lengths back in fourth over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Goes well over this trip, filling a placing at all four starts, including a win and is one of the contenders. THE SHAPER (9) finished third at Flemington two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m at this track, finishing 9 lengths back in 13th. Has his share of talent and can do a lot better.
