Goes very well when fresh including two wins. Expected to continue the good form from last campaign this time around. THE SHAPER (4) resumed three weeks ago over 7f at this track and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Has a perfect second up record from two starts including last prep when successful over 7f at Ballarat. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. AL DUCA (5) was quickly into stride over 1m at Moonee Valley last time and defied all challengers to score by 1.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LAVALIER (17) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¾f at Wyong, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
