VALOIS (2) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 5.5 lengths away in sixth over 7f43yards at Caulfield. In a nice race and deserves another chance. UNTOUCHABLE LEGEND (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Caulfield, beaten 10 lengths into sixth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. YANKEE ONE (10) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 6 lengths when eighth in a 5½f contest at Caulfield three weeks ago. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. AMOREAUX (8) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Has filled a minor placing at both when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a second over 6f at Beaumont (Newcastle). One of the better prospects.
