SPELLMASTER (4) resumes from a six-and-a-half months lay-off and looked close to a win before the break, starting favourite and finishing third at Donald. Jockey John Allen back aboard. Nicely placed and expected to go well. THUNDER HAWK (8) has only raced once and finished a head away in second over 7f67yards at Kilmore four-and-a-half months ago. Will be better for that experience so she is a leading contender. BRANDNU DEAL (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 6½f at this track. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
