THIN RED LINE (10) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Pakenham, beaten 3 lengths into eighth after being in contention on the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. FUNNYIFITWON (2) resumed over 7f at Pakenham last start and after showing little early speed hit the line with gusto to finish third, beaten 2.25 lengths. Strong finish expected again here. BAVICIA (6) turned in a moderate midfield finish when resuming from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m at Bendigo. Likely to improve with that run under the belt so he is sure to be competitive. THE BIG KAHUNA (5) resumed over 1m at Bendigo last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by one length. Will be better for that latest run and he can measure up again.
