INITIALIZE (8) resumes from a lay-off of six months and is having his first outing under new trainer Steven Asmussen. Finished eighth at Fairgrounds (Turf) over 1m1/2f at the opening run last time in work. Winning chance. ORE MINE (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just two wins from 23 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 7f at Remington Park, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a nice race and can take this out. THE DEVIL'S BET (4) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on June 28 and finished eighth behind Usually Wrong over 5f in Listed grade at Lone Star Park (Turf). Finds the right race to make his mark. BRILLIANT SPIN (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m1/2f at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
