Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. CHARRITA 001 (6) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1f31yards at this track, beaten 1.2 lengths into fifth. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. DEFENDER (7) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 4.5 lengths when ninth in a 1½f contest at Delta Downs a month ago. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. MUDDYS JACK AND COKE (1) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1f31yards at this track, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
