ALPINE PRINCESS (4) was thereabouts last time out when second in the G3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct (Dirt) over 1m1f, beaten a nose. That run should have her rock-hard fit now. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with three wins from six runs and is among the leading chances. HOOSIER PHILLY (5) was far too good when resuming last start when she scored by 5 lengths over 1m1/4f in stakes class at Fairgrounds (Dirt). MISS CODE WEST (7) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 1m in Listed grade at Remington Park (Dirt) to make it two on the bounce. Has a strong association with F Wethey Jr who has been in the saddle for her last two wins. Sure to be competitive. FLASHY LASS (8) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 6 lengths over 1m1/4f at Listed level at Remington Park (Dirt) last time out. Good record at this journey with two wins and three minor placings from seven starts and cannot be underestimated.
