Race Tip

BRING FORTH (1) returns after a lay-off of five months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 7f at Pakenham. Comes here with definite claims. TWILIGHT ELEGANCE (7) resuming in easier company after finishing off last campaign with a city placing at Sandown-Lakeside. Ran fifth in a trial at Cranbourne over 6f. Runs fairly well when fresh. Looks a leading contender. MAKTOOB (2) finished 4 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1m at Seymour, an improvement on his seventh at Flemington the run before. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. LENSMAN (6) is a genuine type with two minor placings from three starts this prep. Turned in another good performance last time out when third over 7f at Wangaratta. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
