AREAAN (9) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten 5 lengths, over 7f at Cranbourne. Has the talent to go one better. BORN SURVIVOR (2) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Wodonga over 1m after being in contention all the way. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. KENNERITE (3) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 24 lengths from the winner in 11th over 1m1 1/2f at Traralgon. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. VIRE RIVER (13) finished third at Traralgon two runs back but was less effective last time over 7f32yards at Traralgon, finishing 10 lengths back in sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
