ALTHOFF (11) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1. 2 lengths adrift in second over 6½f at this track when returning from a lay-off. Solid prospects. PIPPIE BEACH (8) was given a short break after finishing tenth over 7f in the LR Winter Stakes at this track. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Rosehill. Rates highly and is one of the leading contenders. SIR ARTIE (10) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 0. 9 lengths over 7f at Eagle Farm last time out. In form and will be running on hard again.
