ALABAMA STATE (19) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track then missed the placings last time when 5. 5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f at this track. Capable of a return to form. SUPER NUI (7) resumed over 5½f last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish fourth at Warwick Farm. Has a liking for this longer trip. One of the main contenders. PUERTO BANUS (3) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when third, beaten 1. 3 lengths, at Scone over 5½f. Will find this much tougher but shapes as one to consider. OAKFIELD JUPITER (6) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by one length over 6f at Randwick.
