CRISTAL CLEAR (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 7¾f at Randwick Kensington after he was in the firing line on the bend. Has further improvement to come and is expected to feature in the finish. KAPAKIRI (1) had a bit on his rivals last time with an impressive 6 lengths win over 1m at Warwick Farm. Goes well at this trip, recording four minor placings and should be hard to stop. CAPTAIN FURAI (4) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at this track but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at this track. Finds a nice race and can make amends. SEVEN'S (7) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 0.6 lengths over 7¾f at Canterbury. Fitter for that last hitout and is worth following up.
